Three Companies Have Teamed Up To Build The Most Powerful Devices. I Am For The Metaverse Destined To Dominate (Meta)
Share

What happens when three very capable companies decide to establish a partnership to be stronger in the race to the Metaverse? We will find out, but in the meantime, the companies are solid: Meta, Qualcomm and Bose.
The goal is to build the most powerful virtual reality devices set to dominate the market in the near future.
It will be interesting to see how this collaboration develops and what potential in terms of innovation we will witness. Surely the path is the right one, because by joining forces you can really make a difference.
This agreement marks a new chapter in the collaboration between Meta and Qualcomm that has been going on for over seven years.
Now they will focus exclusively on the Metaverse, in particular, the development of hardware dedicated to the devices that will access it.
We know who Meta is (Facebook – Mark Zuckerberg.) Qualcomm, on the other hand, is an electronics giant, known for the production of mobile chips.
Its entry into the Augmented Reality sector dates back to 2012 when it started working on Vuforia technology, later integrated into the Snapdragon chip line.
While Bose is an American company founded in 1964, specializing in the production of speakers, headphones and audio systems.
The company has always been at the forefront of technological innovation, as evidenced by the patents registered in recent years.
It is no coincidence that it was among the first to invest in Augmented Reality, thanks to the AR-enabled Bose AR product line.
In short, an explosive combo that has few rivals.
THE FIRST PRODUCTS
The latest fruit of the collaboration between Qualcomm and Meta was the famous Meta Quest 2 (aka Oculus Quest 2) based on Snapdragon XR2 platform.
Now we will follow several devices that will be released in the coming years thanks to the consolidation of the partnership.
In short, Qualcomm will still be the companion chosen by Meta to move forward in the development of hardware platforms that can support the development of several generations of metaverses.
EXPLANATIONS FROM COMPANY LEADERS

Qualcomm’s Cristiano Amon said:
“By partnering with Meta, we are bringing together two of the world’s metaverse leaders to revolutionize the future of computing for billions of people in the coming years.
Building on our joint leadership in XR, this agreement will enable our companies to deliver cutting-edge devices and experiences to transform the way we work, play, learn, create, and connect into a fully realized metaverse. ”
Meta’s Mark Zuckerberg has said:
“We are working with Qualcomm Technologies on custom virtual reality chipsets, based on Snapdragon XR platforms and technology, for our future Quest product roadmap.
As we continue to create more advanced capabilities and experiences for virtual and augmented reality, it has become increasingly important to create specialized technologies to power our future VR headsets and other devices.
Unlike cell phones, building virtual reality brings new multidimensional challenges in spatial processing, cost, and form factor.
These chipsets will help usto continue to push virtual reality to the limit and offer extraordinary experiences.”
THE BOSE PART
The Bose component obviously be wireless and will integrate the SoCs of the Qualcomm S5 Audio family.
Metaverse is of higher quality and even lower consumption.
In this case, it is an unprecedented collaboration, despite the fact that the companies have been collaborating for some time.
Lila Snyder of Bose explained that:
“Bose and Qualcomm Technologies have worked closely together for many years to implement solutions that elevate the level of consumer audio experiences.
As we work on this important relationship, we will continue to work together to push the limits of what is possible for our products and technologies. To bring people more fun than ever with their music and content.”
While Qualcomm’s Cristiano Amon commented that:
“Bose is arguably one of the most iconic audio brands and I am proud to see our long-standing relationship continues to grow.
Bose has an incredibly strong and competitive product roadmap that will leverage our most premium audio and connectivity platforms. To bring their most innovative audio devices ever to market.”
HOW MUCH DOES TECHNOLOGICAL ARCHITECTURE FOR USERS MATTER FOR THE METAVERSE?

Qualcomm and Meta have collaborated since the dawn of virtual reality, when both companies aimed to make immersion possible in an artificial world.
The partnership has always been very close. First with the Snapdragon 835 and 845 chipsets, then with the very recent Snapdragon XR2.
Qualcomm’s SoC has played a crucial role in enabling the Oculus Quest family to deliver superior performance over its direct competitors.
Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 is the most powerful chipset ever made for virtual reality. It is capable of supporting up to 7 times the rendering of graphics compared to the previous generation and offering a level of experience very close to reality.
All thanks to the integration of Qualcomm AI processors, which allow developers to make advanced artificial intelligence features available in their applications.
This allows you to exponentially improve the quality of virtual reality experiences, increasing the rendering of content and making it possible to use features such as voice recognition and realistic avatars.
With its recent partnership with Bose, Qualcomm aims to offer an even more immersive experience to Metaverse users by integrating its audio chipsets into the company’s next generation of wireless headphones.
HOW MUCH MARK ZUCKERBERG’S METAVERSE WILL EARN
Mark Zuckerberg’s Metaverse is nothing more than his idea of virtual reality, an artificially constructed world in which users can immerse themselves and interact as if they were in real life.
The goal is to offer users an immersive and realistic experience, thanks to Qualcomm’s cutting-edge technology.
Plus, the Metaverse will allow users to take advantage of artificial intelligence features to improve the gaming experience and interaction with other users.
The recent partnership with Bose will allow users to enjoy even more realistic and immersive audio, thanks to the technology of Qualcomm S5 SoCs.
All this will ensure that the Meta Metaverse becomes an increasingly realistic and engaging world, able to offer users a unique and unforgettable experience.
And in all likelihood, also more profitable for Mark Zuckerberg.
Here in my opinion Meta, after a somewhat limp start in part due to stock market crashes, will be one of the most likely virtual worlds of success.
Which is why I advise you to keep an eye on it. This is not investment advice but a consideration that I make so that you can make your own decision and act as you want if you are passionate about investments in tokens, NFTs, or real estate of land or apartments in virtual reality.
